Sustaining Positive Measures to Ensure Access to SRH Services During the COVID Pandemic and Beyond
The COVID-19 pandemic created significant barriers to accessing sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services, as lockdowns and travel restrictions limited individuals' ability to seek services, governments deprioritized provision of these services, and supply chain disruptions caused medication shortages, among other challenges. Yet, civil society organizations have shown tremendous perseverance throughout the pandemic, securing concrete commitments from governments to combat these barriers and introducing new innovations in the provision of care. This webinar will explore how advocates and service providers promoted sexual and reproductive health and rights during the pandemic and make the human rights and public health case that many of these positive measures must be maintained after the pandemic subsides.
